Welcome, Fiber Friends! My name is Hailee and I am so excited that you decided to drop by Knotted Up In String. I am low-key addicted to crochet, yarn, dogs, and coffee, but I will do my best to limit myself to just sharing my love of all things fiber and crochet with you. For now…I’ve been crocheting for nearly two decades and designing my own projects and patterns for nearly as long. 

It’s probably fair to assume you’re here because you love all things yarn and crochet, too! I specialize in C2C graphgans and crocheted blankets in general. I firmly believe there is no such thing as too many blankets in one’s home or living space, and my tower of living room blankets may or may not be taller than my children. Blankets are both practical and magical. Far away from a friend or family member? Send them a blanket! It’s basically the closest thing to a long distance hug as you can get! 

I also specialize in stitch work! I am almost embarrassed to admit how just how exuberant I get when poring over a new stitch dictionary. There is nothing more hygge than to sit down with a fresh cup of coffee, a skein of yarn and a hook, and just swatch out a new stitch pattern while my doggo sleeps in my lap. Many of my pattern ideas are born on these cozy stitchful nights.
