• Medium Worsted Weight Yarn, I recommend Premier Anti-Pilling Everyday Worsted (click here to shop) or for natural fibers, I recommend KnitPicks Dishie Cotton (click here to shop)
• Note: to make this as a baby/toddler/kid blanket, I highly recommend using DK yarn, an F/5 – 3.75mm hook, and about 25% less yarn.

• Optional – extra yarn for a border (pattern/instructions for a border are not included), about 100 yards per round

Gauge and Size

• This chart is 60 squares by 90 squares
• The approximate finished size using the recommended medium worsted weight yarn and hook size is 45″x68″ or 114x173cm
• Gauge will vary depending on the brand of yarn used and your personal tension, but a 7×7 square made with the recommended medium worsted weight yarn and hook should be approximately 5”x5” or 13x13cm. Your personal gauge can affect the finished size by several inches/centimeters.
