Sometimes inspiration is sudden; I know exactly what I want to do and I put pen to paper and it spills out instantly. But sometimes it’s coy. I knew I wanted to include the Statue of Liberty in my Traveling Postcards collection, but she was feeling rather coquettish. She teased me as I tried to capture her essence in pixel form. She smiled impishly as I planned the color palette. But in the end, she allowed herself to stand proudly. And it was about time I have a blanket representing my home country.

I am rather pleased to finally release my Lady Liberty C2C Crochet Pattern after many months (nearly a full year, actually!) of designing and redesigning and re-redesigning. You can find this pattern and many more in my Etsy and Ravelry shops now!

And if you’d like some yarn color recommendations, I’ve put together some sample palettes here.
